  • Du unterstützt das Team in der Optimierung von Recruiting Strategien und bringst eigene Ideen bei der Auswahl der Recruiting Kanäle ein
  • Du hilfst unserem Recruiting Team mit der Planung von Interviews

Dein Profil:

  • Du studierst Psychologie, Kommunikation oder einen vergleichbaren Studiengang
  • Du hast idealerweise bereits erste Erfahrung im Personalmanagement / Recruiting gesammelt
  • Du besitzt eine interdisziplinäre Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit und hast ein hohes Maß an Eigeninitiative und Zuverlässigkeit
  • Du zeichnest Dich durch hohes Organisationstalent sowie Freude an der Teamarbeit aus
  • Du sprichst fließend Deutsch und Englisch

Your playing field at Gini

The Head of People will be responsible for defining our people strategy as well as building, motivating and retaining a high-performance team to ensure that Contabilizei continues to meet its ambitious growth plans.

This position works directly to the CEO and is a key member of the executive leadership team.

The Head of People will be a leading authority on how we scale our people management practices for the long term, including adapting our hiring strategies, managing employee benefits and promoting healthy people management practices as we grow.


People Strategy:

  • Develop and delivery of strategy and people plan, aligned with the company’s strategy and business goals. Building scalable, simple, and easy-to-apply HR processes attract and retain exceptional candidates.
  • Working with the executive team to advise on organizational design, execution of restructure plans and provide change management consultancy

Learning & development:

  • Develop an incredible in-company learning and development program to ensure that all team members are satisfied and have the tools they need for personal and professional advancement. We believe in investing in our leaders and that they develop new successors, supporting the scalability of the organization.
  • Improve leadership performance assessment process by broadening to all employee base.
  • Develop processes and actions that unite all the tools of people management in a simple schedule and that have a logic of execution within a scalable and efficient system.

  • Overseeing all employee lifecycle processes from new hire to termination.
  • Supporting the Finance team with crossover items such as benefits and contracts.
  • Develop and lead on all compensation and benefits strategy and processes.
  • Conducting formal and informal employee surveys, understanding employee opinions, engagement drivers, and culture indicators and anticipating their needs and concerns.
  • Develop and implement innovative strategies of retention for our team.
  • Build a meritocratic career plan and rewarding plan.

Culture & Diversity :

  • Stimulate efforts to further incorporate our culture and our unique values to promote the diversity and inclusion of all people, managing People and Culture projects and internal communications.

Data Driven:

  • Provide information for the entire company, interpreting data from people and analyzing KPIs that generate value and information that can be translated into People strategy.
  • Develop, track and improve dashboards that indicate strategic actions to be developed through systems such as Linkedin, Stackoverflow, ATS, internal monitoring worksheets and reports of People development programs.

The ideal candidate will bring experience in setting direction at all stages of the organizational life cycle and talents, including a proven record-building system and culture to enable scalability.

We are looking for a leader who can help us sustain and build on our culture and core values in a time of fast growth. Entering this chair, this professional needs to be an expert in quickly assessing the current state of the organization, setting priorities, setting expectations and proposing improvements, and continuing the current organizational and talent development plan. This effort will need to address both immediate organizational needs and future business and talent needs.

Personal / Professional Attributes:

  • Evidence of continuous professional development in qualification in People Management.
  • Bachelor in Business Administration, Engineering and/or relevant areas; MSc / MA will be a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills to think logically, identify root causes of problems, and the ability to think creatively and solve problems.
  • Ability to confidently articulate Human Resources issues for internal staff and external stakeholders, both in writing and verbally.

ProntoPro is Italy’s leading service marketplace. We help millions of people to find local service professionals: anything from a wedding photographer to a plumber to a guitar teacher. We are bringing transparency and meritocracy to a world that is completely opaque, transforming the way people buy services.
We are a rapidly growing startup: in March 2015 we were just 2 people, now we are over 100 people between our two offices in Milan and Vienna. Average age is 29, we work in an open space and we minimize bureaucracy as much as possible (it’s counterproductive!). Everyone is treated like an adult, has large responsibilities and direct impact on the business.
Our investors include as well as high-profile angels who work at Google, Facebook, eBay, McKinsey and Unicredit. In 2018 we started internationalizing by launching in Austria and Switzerland – and we just got started!
We are looking for people who want to build a unicorn that will strongly impact the lives of millions. This is not a relaxed job.

Your job

ProntoPro has an exceptionally ambitious goal. To achieve this, People Operations must help ensure that ProntoPro is an exceptional group of people who work together efficiently. Your personal goal inside People Operations will be finding these exceptional people and getting them to join us. It’s a huge responsibility and we could end the Job Description right here; but let’s go a bit deeper.
We have and will experience serious headcount growth, across multiple countries. We need to be good at attracting great people, and need a solid value-based process to select them. We do not want to compromise on quality because of urgency – and this requires an exceptional recruiting engine.
Here is what you will own:
  • Sourcing, selecting and recruiting the right talent (of course!)
  • Building a world-class recruiting process. Think strategically about the whole process, from definition of what we are looking for, to contract signing. Rather than just doing great things yourself, build a process so that anyone can run an effective recruiting process. You don’t need permission to change anything.
  • Building our brand as an Employer, from scratch. Recruiting starts here, and we’ve done nothing.
  • Automate everything that can be automated: change our ATS if you need to, but ensure no one in People Operations is doing any data entry or inefficient work.
  • Don’t forget we are a startup: go back to the first sentence: People Operations must ensure that ProntoPro is an exceptional group of people who work together efficiently. There are dozens of other things that you may end up doing to help us achieve our goal!
And let’s not bullshit each other: we are still a 100-people startup that is investing every last cent in growth. So despite the millions of customers and fantastic growth, we are very resource constrained. We got here by being efficient, creative and smart – and need to continue acting like this.


  • At least 2 years in Recruiting in a company with a great Recruiting Process. It’s hard to create one if you haven’t experienced one.
  • Experience in a high-growth environment: a company adding 10 new hires per year is not growing. 50-100 new hires per year is more like it.
  • Strong logic & structured communication: otherwise you won’t be able to build effective processes and roll them out internally
  • High energy! You’re the first point of contact an external candidate has with ProntoPro. You represent what we stand for – and that is not slow, regular growth rather explosively changing the world.
  • Learning mindset: you are also not fit to run recruiting in a unicorn. If you’re not in constant learning mode, you will stop being effective after 1-2 years.
  • Proficiency in English: not sure if we mentioned this already, but we’re going international!
