You will be joining the “Automated Accounting Academy” which tackles the pain of manual bookkeeping by offering a fully-automized solution to make Accounting beautifully simple.

Your playing field at Gini

  • You take ownership of your very own Working Student or Intern positions and are responsible for the entire hiring process
  • You support the Recruitment team in finding new talents by actively searching for candidates on Xing, LinkedIn, and other platforms
  • You assist the team with HR-related tasks and take over administrative responsibilities (e.g., onboarding, reference letters)
  • You support the team with Employer Branding activities

Your profile

  • You are studying psychology, business or a related field and are able to dive into recruitment topics for at least 15 hours per week
  • You are a proactive person with a high level of independence and a flexible and organized way of working
  • You are empathetic and super curious about getting to know people
  • You have great communication and writing skills in German and English

As our Human Resources Director you will be responsible for the strategic people management of the company, advising the management team on internal HR policies, overseeing recruitment and developing the employee experience and internal culture.

What you’ll be working on 

  • Advise management on strategic decisions
  • Define strategy for recruitment
  • Define internal programs such as benefits, rewards and recognition among others
  • Be the internal contact point for employees
  • Develop internal training for employees and managers
  • Develop and implement culture management initiatives and programs
  • Oversee the accurate management of employees’ data in our company
  • Report on People Management metrics (turnover, application to hire ratio, employee satisfaction, average life time of employee, etc) and implement strategies accordingly
  • Ensure the collection and analysis of information from quarter performances
  • Organize the agenda and support logistic organization of company events with management

What you should bring to the table

  • Native German speaker
  • 3 years of experience in People Management
  • Understanding and experience in recruitment practices
  • Understanding and experience in strategic People Management
  • Understanding and experience in culture management & people development
  • Good communication skills in verbal & written form
  • Fluent English

What you’ll be working on 

  • Defining culture and people goals with management
  • Internally organizing team events and other activities to shape the culture
  • Monitor and report on people metrics such as engagement, average employee life cycle, turnover and adjust course accordingly throughout the year
  • Support managers with tools for performance evaluation, skill development and employee retention
  • Be the safe point for employees to confide in when needed
  • Implement internal training and development programs and initiatives
  • Review employee experience, improving processes and interactions to provide the best working experience

What you should bring to the table

  • Experience in team management and culture management
  • Be empathetic and ability to active listen
  • Background in Psychology or related field
  • Fluent English
