New Account Business Development Director (m/f)


Your position
We are looking for an experienced and motivated New Account Business Development Director to join our company either in our Berlin office or remotely to win new accounts and grow them. You will help us grow our business by playing an integral part in generating new sales and maintaining strong relationships with our key customers. The position provides a unique chance for a hands-on person with great communication skills.
Key activities
  • Win new big key accounts and develop strong long-term relationships
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Develop and implement an action plan for how key account will achieve targets, identify specific actions to improve profit and grow the business
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal teams
  • Collaborate with the Sales and Customer Success Management teams to identify a set of high-opportunity key accounts
  • Conduct regular reviews of business performance and deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts
Knowledge & Skills Required:
  • Have a minimum of 3+ years experience working in account management and business development
  • Proven track record in managing and closing deals with big B2B customers - you sold to large enterprise customers and build a network with decision makers
  • Understanding of IoT/SaaS solutions; comfortable discussing technical and commercial topics, preferably knowledge and insight into telecommunication
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude for building relationships
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, any additional language is a plus
  • In case of working remotely you are able to visit the Berlin office for 2 days per week
